You will be inspired by this 13 minute documentary about Om Sleiman farm featuring Yara Dowani, one of the founding farmers. You financed a much needed irrigation system for 3 dunums of the organic farm this year, thank you.

Here is the synopsis: “We learn the story of Yara Dowani, a farmer and one of the initiators of the organic farm project "Umm Suleiman", with a five year agreement from the owner of the land, Abu Alaa. The farm holds workshops with volunteers coming from all parts of Palestine to learn about organic farming, support the project, and enjoy their time at the farm. The farm's location is adjacent to an Israeli settlement making it unable for them to build further. Despite the threats from the Israeli occupation, Yara returns to work on the organic farm for the results worth suffering for a healthy life free of chemicals.”
