Small Change, Big Impact: How often have you been at a store checkout counter, and been asked to donate your change to an organization you know very little about? Well, now you can give to The Land of Canaan Foundation instead – and keep the tax benefit.

Help a cause YOU care about: We've partnered with CaringCent, a fundraising technology company that helps protect you from a checkout clerk pushing a random charity on you for a donation. Through CaringCent's secure platform, you can register a credit or debit card, and then designate LOCF to receive the virtual change you create from purchases.

Here's how it works: CaringCent uses rounding to create the “virtual change” that you will donate when you pay with a credit or debit card registered with CaringCent. Your donation goes to LOCF to programs that support farming communities in Palestine.

You keep the tax benefit: You will not see the rounding on your merchant's sales slip, it is automatically calculated in the secure CaringCent system (only the date and purchase amount are shared). Once a month you will receive an email from CaringCent with the total amount of change you have donated, which will be charged to your designated card. You can view your daily roundups at any time; you can make a monthly donation cap; and you will get an annual tax receipt.
